Managing People and Teams

This workshop aims to provide managers with the knowledge, skills & capacity for managing people and teams confidently and improving team performance.

Objectives

• Deepen understanding of what motivates people in the 21st century and how to use this knowledge to be an inspiring leader and team member
• Develop an understanding of what effective leaders and managers do and how they behave, assess their own leadership style and how to move between styles as required
• Be aware of the stages of development that teams pass through and be able to apply the appropriate leadership behaviours to create a high performing team
• Understand the roles that all high performing teams need and be able to analyse team members to ensure all roles are represented
• Learn a proven and effective Coaching process, and increase own questioning and feedback skills in order to provide their staff with maximum development opportunities
