The ILM Level 3 Award in Leadership has been designed to give practicing or aspiring first line managers a solid foundation for their formal development as a leader.
The programme requires candidates to complete two mandatory modules. Each module is assessed to ensure understanding of the key concepts; assessments may include work based assignments, projects and presentations.
As ILM registered learners, all candidates receive student membership to the ILM free of charge. This provides access to ILM’s learning resources for one year:- access to books, journals and articles for continuing professional development.
There are no formal entry requirements, but participants will normally be either practising or aspiring first line managers in a role where they have the opportunity to meet the assessment demands and have a background that will enable them to benefit from the programme.
