DiSC - Behavioural Profiling

Self-awareness and understanding is a vital prerequisite for effective communication and interpersonal relations, as well as for developing empathy with others.

This course provides practical guidance to aid self-awareness by gaining insights into individual personality, strengths and weaknesses, likes and dislikes. We then go on to examine the principles that drive effective communication between individuals.

Objectives

  • Understand your own behavioural style and the effect it has on others
  • Recognise when you need to flex your behavioural style in order to be more effective
  • Understand how different behavioural styles operate and what they need  to be motivated,  build trust and how they react under pressure
  • Identify different ways in which you can behave so as to increase personal effectiveness, value differences, interact more successfully with others so as to build more effective relationships at work and beyond
  • Identify key relationships which you could improve by flexing your style and adapting your behaviour and approach in order to improve the quality of your interactions and the outcomes
