The strategy for Camden Provider Services' is to develop business skills to enable them to move from the traditional public sector approach to a more customer focused market driven model. There was a need to upskill which required a fundamental shift in the way managers worked, leading to a more commercially astute organisation.
SIA Group was entrusted to design a bespoke Commercial Awareness Programme which included training in Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Negotiation & Influencing. The programme was delivered through a series of integrated, results focused workshops to develop skills to apply within the workplace. SIA Group continued to support the Commercial Awareness programme with ongoing coaching to ensure the skills are embedded.
The programme produced direct commercial benefit through the positive use of negotiation skills with third party suppliers. The Senior team have been so impressed with the results of the programme that they commissioned SIA Group to roll the programme out to the wider management team to embed a Commercial Awareness culture across Camden Provider Services.
