Challenge

Global companies need to develop leaders who can manage operations in a business environment that is becoming increasingly complex and in which creativity, flexibility and speed are crucial. TeliaSonera needed to establish these key behaviours in its leaders across its worldwide locations and maintain a focus on cost saving.

Solution

SIA Group designed a modular leadership programme to enhance the First Level Managers' ability to lead high performing teams. An internal team of trainers has been trained and accredited by SIA Group to deliver the programme in a global roll-out starting in Quarter 1 of 2010 with SIA Group trainers in support. In developing the Leadership Development solution the SIA Group team worked closely with the client to re-design building blocks from the SIA Group's portfolio of Leadership courses.

Result

The programme has been rated very highly by the TeliaSonera trainers with an overall score of 95% across the Key Performance Indicators.
